Tiare intimate ceremony. The traditional French Polynesian Priest performs the ceremony in Tahitian, carries out the “Tifaifai” ritual and gives his blessing. The traditional ceremony lasts 15 minutes, after which the priest presents a special certificate inscribed on tapa. All together, musicians and dancers will then celebrate the couple’s union.

A hostess escorts them to the ceremony grounds, which has been decorated with flowers following the French Polynesian tradition. They are welcomed by the master of ceremony. As per tradition, the renewal of the vows proceeds in Tahitian, the couple is baptized with their Tahitian names and exchange beautiful flower leis and crowns as a symbol of their vows.
